All Information is Misinformation

Well, things certainly have escalated since the last time I wrote on substack.
There is at once nothing and way too much to say. For now I'll keep it brief.
Whatever source you use to gather intelligence on the state of the world - I hope you recognize the fact that all points of view are necessarily missing something. It is literally impossible to know everything about anything - let alone something as complex as this world.
In this sense all information is actually misinformation: it's fundamentally missing something.
For the last two years we have been bombarded with a barrage of confusing, frightening and contradictory mis/information much of which we are now learning was false. Now we are presented with a new crisis with pretty much the same crew delivering the message.
It is my ardent hope that most of us have learned by this point that the loudest voices are often not the most trustworthy and that those with a professional stake in the information business are often compromised by conflicts of interest.
